Fashion and Design Take Center Stage at Delta College

​San Joaquin Delta College's Fashion Program proudly presents a vibrant day dedicated to the world of creativity and design, inviting students, faculty, and the community to witness the innovation and skill of its talented individuals. This year's event promises an exciting showcase of current and past student achievements across fashion, interior design, and fine arts.

​Design on Display Exhibition:

• Date: Thursday May 1st 2025
  
• Time: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Location: Danner Hall
• Immerse yourself in a diverse collection of student work, including captivating fashion designs, intricate fashion illustrations, innovative textile arts, strategic marketing concepts, eye-catching visual merchandising, culturally rich costumes, and inspiring residential and commercial interior designs.
• Throughout the day, live demonstrations will offer a fascinating glimpse into the creative process, featuring textile weaving, fashion sketching, and the cutting-edge applications of 3D interior design technology.
• Participate in the Eco Design Challenge by casting your vote for the most innovative and sustainable creation crafted by our students from everyday items or garments. The winning student will receive a $100 prize!

• ​​Arts, Library, and Multimedia Division Demonstrations and Performances:
• Time: Starting at 11 a.m.
• Location: The Quad
• Enjoy a rich tapestry of artistic expression with musical, vocal, and dance performances, alongside captivating demonstrations of bronze pouring and the skillful art of clay throwing in ceramics!

Delta College's Fashion Program is committed to providing students with access to invaluable industry resources and opportunities, empowering them to explore their future careers by immersing them directly in the fashion world. Through enriching field experiences, attendance at industry events, and hands-on training, students gain invaluable exposure to the field and forge direct connections with fashion professionals.
Whether your passion lies in fashion, interior design, or the broader visual arts, Delta College's full day of art and design offers an engaging and inspiring experience that celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of its students and alumni. ​A Story of Fashion' Runway Show: A Long-Awaited Return

• Time: 7 p.m.
• Location: Outdoor quad area of campus
• After a highly anticipated return, the 12th edition of the 'A Story of Fashion' runway show will grace the outdoor quad. This year's event spotlights the exceptional talent of four advanced student designers: Fiona Curie, Justin Hung, Antonio, and Patricia Nichols, alongside standout collections from esteemed alumni designers: Kathy Vang, Tien Nguyen, Susan Rodriquez, and Alyssa Gibson.
• Featuring over 50 models styled by professional hair and makeup artists, the show is a culmination of months of dedication and collaboration by the Fashion Program’s Event Production class. It beautifully showcases the synergy of local talent in design, styling, and event coordination.
