As the sun goes down, the Miami streets come alive. We are heating things up at this year's annual Latin-themed event, bringing you the hottest new entertainment in town in a venue dressed and infused with Miami decor by JQ Events. The evening will also include a five-star dinner by the Chalet Event Center's in-house chefs while Sacramento Fashion Week presents some stylish designers in a runway fashion show. This is a night you surely do not want to miss; all in honor of raising awareness about the chronic autoimmune disease, Lupus.

Andrea Flores | KCRA 3 Anchor
Andrea Flores is an Emmy-nominated journalist who anchors the KCRA 3 News at 10 p.m. She joined the team in December 2021. Andrea is excited to return to the Sacramento, Stockton, and Modesto areas. She is familiar with the community from her years studying at the University of California, Davis. She graduated with a degree in communication and Spanish. Originally from Southern California, Andrea is happy to be back in her home state. Andrea speaks Spanish and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She received the Marsha Bangert Williamson Memorial Award from the National Federation of the Blind. |

Move with Mo
Move with Mo is a dance company directed by Morgan 'Mo' Hernandez. Mo is a Chicana Choreographer, Instructor, and Performer based in Sacramento, CA. She has performed at notable Latin Dance festivals within the US and internationally in France and Mexico. She offers a weekly Bachata class out of Yemaya Dance Studios but also specializes in Mambo and Heels. Move with Mo can be found at local events sharing the history and art of Latin Dance with the community. Mo lets her passion and love for dance lead the way and enjoys helping students of all skill levels reach their goals. She especially loves building community through Bachata and seeing her students evolve through the practice of movement. |
Team Libertad
Team Libertad is a Shines Performance Team directed and choreographed by Morgan ‘Mo’ Hernandez. It is a Bachata/Heels Fusion which means team members will learn technique, choreography, and stage presence in the dance styles of both Bachata and Heels. Weekly practices plus local and distant performance opportunities create tons of chances for community building and personal growth. For many, dance means a chance to feel freedom and this team is rooted in embracing and exploring that value as individuals and as a whole. |

Crystiana Creates by Crystiana Lopez a local Sacramento based artist who sees the world and even clothing as her canvas. Crystiana has a nitch for custom jackets and displaying visual art on both canvases and murals. Her art is inspired by family, love, her heritage, old English fonts, and also bleeding roses |

Inspired by vibrant colors, print fabrics, and reversible pieces, May T created the brand “Juku,” which is actually the designer's middle name. With a degree in fashion design and fashion merchandising at American River College where she also received designer awards for “Honorable Creativity” and “Best Re-Purpose” at their annual fashion shows. In 2017, she even had the opportunity to showcase some of her pieces at the Voices Magazine Awards in Minneapolis). Juku designs consist of African inspired prints, vibrant colors, and fabric with a more sophisticated European style twist. The use of these vibrant and African prints is a representation of where she's from and who she is. Juku can be perfect to wear in an office setting, for a day out cavorting in the city, or a night out in the town. The versatility May T brings through her unique style can be seen in all of her designs. |

After moving to the United States in 2007, Maya found the American cultural lifestyle inspiring. From this inspiration, a new creative vision emerged. For Maya, there is a long creative process and secret formula that puts the soul into every dress. The goal of her new collection is to attract spiritually positive vibrations. The shimmer of gold and silver represents the reflections of the sun and the moon as they dance on the water's surface. CHARITY
Proceeds from the event will go towards the “L for Lupus Foundation”. The organization is a non-profit, whose mission is to build awareness and support for Lupus patients all over the world. It is our goal and vision of the L for Lupus Foundation, to assist, provide moral support, financial support and have an emergency safety net program in place for underprivileged women, teens, young adults, and families, many who suffer in silence and alone.
