SATURDAY SHOWCASE
DMR Productions in partnership with Sacramento Fashion Week and The Rink Studios brings you Fashion in the City - a fashion event combining performance and creative artist alongside top of the line visual and audio technology. Proceeds raised will go towards the L for Lupus Foundation, a local non profit organization that provides moral and financial support for underprivileged families and survivors of Lupus.

Anastasia Kryukova
Anastasia began her career in fashion at 14 attending a fashion design institution in her hometown of Tula in Russia. Eventually immigrating to the America and embracing a new chapter in her life. Her desire to present herself through her cutting-edge and unique designs lead her to showcase her first collection at Sacramento Fashion Week in 2013 establishing her label Be AK Couture. She just recently opened a boutique in the WAL Public Market on R Street in Sacramento. Her new collection was specifically created for "Nawalt", a new syfy web series that is currently in production shooting in LA and Sacramento. For this exclusive presentation, Anastasia will be partnering with Audentes Leather who will be accessorizing the pieces with bags. |
Adeline Muminova
This will be designer Adeline Muminova's premier showcase, presententing a collection in collaboration with designer Eshonna Trice with Electrik Designs, who featured a collection in Sacramento Fashion Week in 2018. Their collaboration will feature a fusion of fabric from two cultures, UZbek and African. |
Eshonna Trice
Eshonna Trice creates women’s couture pieces with the wearer in mind. Her collections include prom dresses, pieces that are both sexy and sophisticated, and bold prints. While continuing to build her brand—Electrik by Eshonna—this Sacramento fashion designer customizes orders for both locals and non-local folks who wish to wear head-turning garments. This Sacramento designer will surely continuing to make an impact on the local fashion scene. |
Jade Marlin
Jade Marlin designs men and women's clothing with vision and style. His style culminates to an authentic collection that is heavily influenced by the brand's historical roots in sport and classic urban wear. The clothing range (including the iconic slim fit polo shirt) blends British style with the edge and attitude garnered from the brand's unique streetwear credentials. |
Samantha Wall
Owner and chief executive officer of Unlimited Fashions. Specializing in women's fashion and accessories. Originally from Newark, New Jersey. She graduated from Hampton University in Hampton, VA and attended NYC Fashion Institute of technology and has a B.S. degree in business and fashion merchandising. Unlimited Fashion has be featured on the Oprah Winfrey show and has gained a huge following of customers in the Bay Area |
Tamika Huff
Designed by Tamika Huff, Nicolay is an exclusive clothing brand made for minimalist women. With her experience from completing the fashion design program at American River College, Tamika is looking to showcase her design skills to the masses. The brand is primarily made to order, and represents an upscale versatile style that is affordable and relatable. The collection to be presented is an influence of different parts of West Africa, and features the culture through the colors and details of the clothing. |
Zenzele Nuru
Born Theresia L. Bagley, Zenzele Amai Mjiba Nuru was a name given to her of South African origin which means mother, young revolutionary woman, and one who overcomes obstacles and makes a way for herself. That being said, Zenzele truly encompasses the attributes of her name for she is a mother of nine, natural stylist, licensed cosmetologist, owner/lead stylist of Sankofa Duafe Design Studio/Zen Spot Boutique as well as a knitwear designer. Her enthusiasm for all things creative has led her to her passion for design. As a knitwear designer, Zenzele's unconventional design aesthetic and the infusion of fibers and crochet make for harmonious innovative design and fashion forward clothing and accessories. After working around the region, she will now be launching her long awaited second collection of her line Zenzele Nuru. |
