The Outlaw Baseball Club recently hit a home run, showcasing resilience in the face of challenging weather conditions at the Cooperstown Dream Big Event. The event, hosted by Al Sams, a featured reporter from Good Day Sacramento TV, unfolded an amazing event. One of the highlights was a chic fashion show that not only unveiled the latest designs by Yennie Zhou but also emphasized the strong community spirit that defines the Outlaw Baseball Club. The fashion show, curated with flair by Yennie Zhou, a designer with a personal connection to the club as her son is part of the team, brought a unique blend of style to the event. Stylist Hannah Be added her creative touch, presenting Vintage Modern looks not only on models but also on the entire baseball team. The audience, comprised of fans and supporters, couldn't help but rise to their feet in appreciation. Adding to the excitement, a watch party for the 49er's playoff game was seamlessly incorporated into the schedule, complete with four widescreen TVs for fans to enjoy. As a non-profit organization, the Outlaw Baseball Club relies heavily on community support to ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in the program. The commitment to providing affordable opportunities for youth in a competitive travel baseball program is at the heart of the organization's mission. The generosity of the community not only aids the organization but also has a positive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of the local community. The event received special recognition from the Honorable Fiona Ma, California State Treasurer, acknowledging the outstanding support of the Outlaws baseball program. Special mention and gratitude go to the dedicated individuals who contribute significantly to the success of the club:
A heartfelt thank you extends from the production to the sponsors and supporters working diligently behind the scenes: The Montoya Family, Sharon Michener, Dave Alcarez, Josh Pietak, Rachel Zacapa, Monique Zhang, Bao Phan Photography, Trin De Photography, Janna & Kirk Davis Photography, DJ Ray Valido, Monika Dulay, Janice Chung, Nicole Sepulveda Photography. Special appreciation goes to the talented hair and makeup stylists who crafted the amazing looks, including Mlyssah Rodriguez, Jonathan Cheek, and Missy O’Daniel, generously contributing their time and expertise to organize and manage the hair and makeup teams for the show. The Outlaws persist in embodying the essence of community, sportsmanship, and shared aspirations. The Dream Big Event not only applauds their triumphs on the field but also underscores their dedication to offering opportunities for youth in the community. Beyond being a fusion of style and sportsmanship, the event served as a successful fundraiser. The silent auction alone garnered over $9,000, a significant step toward supporting the Outlaws Baseball Club 12u Team in their quest to participate in a seven-day tournament at the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. These funds have propelled the club to the halfway mark of their $40,000 goal, which would cover expenses for 10 players and 3 coaches during the week of July 13th to the 19th for a once-in-a-lifetime tournament. If you'd like to contribute and support their journey, please consider donating to their GoFundMe page by clicking the link below. Every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful impact. Stay tuned for further updates as the Outlaws continue to carve their path, leaving an enduring imprint on the local baseball scene.
