​Dress up Wine Down on Capitol Avenue between 18th and 19th is a collaborative effort of the Handle District in order to benefit the community. This year marks its 6th annual event featuring the popular outdoor fashion show coordinated by Sacramento Fashion Week producer Duane Ram along with local fashion stylist and boutique owner, Felicia Strati who serves as the creative director for the events fashion show.  Allure Salon and Spa sponsored the models hair and Karina Martin lead the makeup support. 

Felicia Strati opened her boutique in 2006 in an area that is now known as the Handle District. A business improvement district in Midtown Sacramento established in 2011 to address maintenance, public safety, marketing programs and streetscape enhancements. Vanessa Lopez soon followed moving into the area opening Heart Boutique. Then in 2011, Zheng Chan and Lily Zhang set up Ladybuggz Boutique.  They have since been the main highlight of the fashion show with longtime collaborator and designer Richard Hallmarq. The 18 restaurants in the district have also become key sponsors of the event as well as the districts community improvement projects and other special events. 

​Year after year the second Saturday of May, volunteerism is exhibited wholeheartedly in an event created to support Weave’s Cause against sexual assault, domestic violence, and sexual trafficking.  All the proceeds are donation based and todate Dress Up Wine Down have raised over $20k for the Weave foundation.
